My name is Carly. I’m a journalism and political science student at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. When I’m not in student mode, I’m likely running.
THE BLOG
I went to Mexico in February 2009 as part of a community-service learning initiative based at my school. There I toured Cuernavaca and worked mixing cement floors for families in a squatter settlement.
I used this blog to prepare for my trip, and now I’d like to continue to post observations about Mexico and international development.
